Originally from Monroe, New York, John-Paul Baum received his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Purchase. He then went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law where he was a Dean's List recipient and was named a Presidential Honors Scholar. John-Paul has gained extensive experience over the past several years working at both small firms, as well as, large firms with multi-state presences. Throughout the years, Mr. Baum has had the opportunity to work with small businesses, startup businesses, and fortune five hundred companies.

Mr. Baum is an experienced trial lawyer that is admitted to practice in both Alabama and South Carolina where he regularly litigates cases in both state and federal court. In his practice, Mr. Baum litigates high-stake cases including, but not limited to, partnership disputes, corporate shareholder disputes, limited liability company disputes, business torts, contract disputes, and estate litigation. Mr. Baum not only helps clients from a litigation standpoint but advises clients on asset protection and legal strategies that support business growth. In addition to Mr. Baum's extensive background, he has gained vast experience throughout the years in criminal law, personal injury, insurance defense, immigration, and family law.
